Terms & Conditions

The Town works to keep information accurate and current, but official records, adopted ordinances, and signed minutes on file at the Town Office control in the event of any discrepancy. The site is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.

• Sender. Town Alerts messages are sent by the Town of Dresden, Maine.
• Alerts are informational municipal notifications — for example office closures, road and snow-plowing notices, transfer station schedule changes, meeting reminders, recreation and community information, tax reminders, and emergency notifications. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
• Enrollment is optional. No one is required to enroll to receive Town services, and a resident chooses which alert categories to receive.
• Message frequency varies with Town activity.
• Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's terms apply.
• STOP. Reply STOP to any Town Alerts message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages.
• HELP. Reply HELP to any Town Alerts message for assistance, or call the Town Office at 207-737-4335.
• Delivery is not guaranteed. Message delivery depends on carriers, devices, and network conditions outside the Town's control, and may be delayed or fail.

Emergency text alerts must not be relied upon as your sole source of emergency information. Always monitor local media, weather services, and official emergency management channels. For any emergency, call 911 — do not use Town Alerts or the Report a Problem form to report an emergency.
