Many town errands can be finished online. Each service below shows who actually provides it, so you know whether you are dealing with the Town of Dresden or the State of Maine.

Renew an existing Maine vehicle or trailer registration online through the State's Rapid Renewal service. First-time registrations and most transfers are handled at the Town Office.

Licence renewals, duplicates and address changes are handled by the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles, not the Town Office.

Maine's online dog licensing service is available for most renewals. New licences, rabies paperwork and questions are handled by the Town Clerk.

Register or renew recreational vehicles online through the State's MOSES system, or at the Town Office during regular hours.

Property tax information & payment
Property tax bills, commitment books and tax maps are posted on this site. Contact the Town Office for a current balance or to arrange payment.
Payment is made at the Town Office or by mail. Confirm current amounts with the Town Office before paying.
